There is nothing romantic about being a startup founder, and it rains all the time in Ireland.
There, I burst two bubbles in one.
I would not change a thing about either one.
We can hate what we love and love what we hate. Humans are complex creatures, no doubt.
After months and then years of the same exact day, it is possible that a person might lose perspective.
When Standing Still is a Choice—It becomes a matter of perspective to choose observation over action and solitude over community.
The world is moving incredibly fast and faster with each passing day, with uncertainty at the bleeding edge; the tsunami amounts to an intolerable overflow of noise without a signal in sight.
Standing still is the choice that opens the aperture of perspective.
Not Never
Without a doubt, the day-in and day-out routine becomes a tunnel without an end in sight.
However long the journey, we humans must find milestones, touchpoints, and breadcrumbs while we learn to realize we are always worthy of more than mere crumbs. Though no one expects any trophy for lack of trying.
The Stargate AI Project, announced by President Donald Trump, promises a large-scale investment—potentially $500 billion over four years—to expand AI-focused data centers and supporting infrastructure. Major participants include OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank, whose CEOs emphasize the plan’s potential to create over 100,000 jobs. Yet, critics question its feasibility and the reality of its funding, raising concerns about privacy and ethical implications.
At the same time, Sam Altman and Elon Musk—co-founders of OpenAI—are locked in a public feud that intensified around Stargate. Musk dismissed the project’s financial viability and labeled Altman a “swindler,” while Altman invited Musk to inspect its Texas construction site. President Trump shows little patience for Musk’s criticisms, attributing them to personal animosities.
Weirder Still...
In a surprising twist unrelated to Stargate but relevant to Musk’s public profile, NASA astronomers recently identified what they thought was a near-Earth asteroid—only to discover it was debris from one of Musk’s Teslas, adding another layer of unusual headlines to the billionaire’s already high-profile controversies.

AI Creative Applications
Guidance on Copyright & AI
Key decisions from the US Copyright Office on AI this week. For those of us using AI as we do Photoshop, Illustrator, Logic X, Premiere, or any other creative tooling, there are some validating decisions to support our workflow as original and authentic.
It's important to note that using AI as a part of your creative process, rather than as a replacement, is indeed protected by copyright. This is a point we've been advocating for at TheTechMargin for the past two years. AI is most effective and valuable when integrated into your existing processes.
Understanding and adapting to these changes takes time and often requires a shift in mindset about how we use tools and technology. I encourage you to read the full PDF below to gain a comprehensive understanding of these important decisions.
The office's analysis is based on the principle that the author is the person who translates an idea into a fixed, tangible expression entitled to copyright protection, for example:
•The use of AI tools to assist rather than stand in for human creativity does not affect the availability of copyright protection for the output.
•Copyright protects the original expression in a work created by a human author, even if the work also includes AI-generated material.
•Copyright does not extend to purely AI-generated material or material where there is insufficient human control over the expressive elements.
