This promotion isn’t just a milestone for her; it’s a pivotal chance to boost her team’s efficiency and unity. Having once been peers with her now subordinates and with roles ranging from facilities management to nursing, her leadership is crucial in a setting where trust and performance are essential.
Jo’s Technological Leap Despite initial reservations about technology, Jo quickly realizes the importance of upskilling to manage her new duties effectively. She embraces AI, using it as both a tool and an ally in leadership.
To overcome her tech apprehension, Jo starts with AI executive assistants. Leveraging a tool such as Reclaim.ai help Jo automate and streamline meeting notes and tasks, while Miro proves invaluable for planning strategic meetings and workshops.
Challenges Identified Upon stepping into her role, Jo encounters several critical issues:

Unfamiliarity with RACI: The RACI model—identifying who is Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed—is unknown here, yet it could clarify duties and streamline operations.

Operational Inefficiencies: Poor scheduling and a lack of structured time off for rest have led to staff burnout, jeopardizing the quality of care provided to residents.
